In a frantic age of accelerating change, when too many decisions must be made all too quickly, intuitive decision-making is a requirement for success and happiness. Palmistry, Crystal Scrying, Ouija Boards, Aura Reading, Tea Leaf Reading, Astrology, Numerology, Dream Interpretation and the Tarot can be used to support better decisions, better relationships and less stress in today's hectic, fast paced world.
Palmistry The science of chiromancy or palmistry originated before Christianity itself. The esteemed scientists and philosophers such as Aristotle, Pliny, Anaxagoras, Hispanus, Cardamis and Emperor Augustus all agreed to this fascinating discipline of Palmistry. The human palm best reveals the story of the human life in the past, present and future. The hand cannot perform a single action without the brain, and there are more nerves from the brain to the hand than to any other part of the body. The hands are the major messaging tools of the human community from time immemorial. Long before languages came into vogue hand gestures played an important role in communciations. We write with them, work with them, and touch others with our hands only. Is it not ones caress more soothing than a thousand words in times of joy or sorrow ? Hence many ancient civilizations had good reason to study mankind through the hands--their shape, their texture, and the lines within them. It is important to look at both hands during a reading. Depending on which hand is active (usually seen as the hand you write with),in combination with the inactive hand, shows where you have been (passive),and where you are likely headed (active) in this life. Palmistry is best seen as a dynamic process. The lines of the hand are not carved in stone. Since the lines, mounts and signs of the hand, the palm and the fingers reflect our thinking and behaviour patterns the study of the above gives a definite reading of the person . The lines and markings physically change as our thinking changes.Palmistry is not foretelling. The original intent of palmistry was for personality assessment and counselling. One's emotional tendencies, social attitudes, conscious awareness and subconscious fears, blockages and strengths can be understood in great detail through this in-depth system which analyses the hand and the markings it carry.Though these days it is used to predict the future of an individual, palmistry does well with the personality assessment task.
Crystal Scrying Because of the cost of rock crystal balls many people use a glass ball but this is not advisable, glass will not pick up the vibrations needed to read the future. Crystal scrying should be done in near or total darkness. The main thing is to avoid reflections on the surface of the crystal. The best method is to use the light of a candle when scrying but make sure the candle does not reflect in the ball. Focus your gaze on the centre of the crystal not on its surface. Try looking through the crystal as if it were a mirror upon the astral world. The first thing you may see is clouds that change colour. Eventually a mist will spread outwards from the centre of the crystal to reveal images. It may be helpful to charge your crystal ball once a month with moonlight. Place the ball in a glass bowl of natural water in the glow of a full moon.
Ouija Boards The ouija board is thought to have been used by the Greeks since before the time of Christ. Ouija Board use a combination of two tools for scrying. The first is a wheel made up of the letters of the alphabet. The second is a glass, usually a wine glass which is inverted and placed in the middle. The letters are usually written on small pieces of paper which are placed in a circle around the table. It was in 1891 that a patent was granted to Elijah J Bond on the first modern Ouija Board. In 1966 the Parker Brothers purchased the rights to the Ouija Board and shifted its manufacturing facilities to Salem, Massachusetts. "Ouija" is a registered trademark. The original and best layout appears to be to place the yes at the top of the circle and the no at the bottom. The l etters are placed in a circle starting with the letter A next to the word yes and continuing around until the final letter Z ends up on the other side of the word yes. The nine numbers from one to nine should be placed at the bottom next to the no. The Ouija Board usually requires a minimum of two people to operate it. It is very rare that one person has the power to operate the board. The two people should sit opposite each other and place the tip of only one finger on the glass. The fingertip should only gently touch the glass. Someone starts by asking a simple question, such as " is there a spirit present?". If there is no response the question should continued to be asked. The glass eventually moves and answers the question. The first time you use a OUIJA BOARD is quite startling. Sometimes someone will deliberatly push the glass but this is easy to spot. The glass tends to move in jerks rather than free flowing. There are stories that Ouija Boards are dangerous to use. These stories are stupid and should be ignored. It is helpful to write down the questions you wish to ask before you start. It is also helpful to have a third person writing down the answers as you go for future reference. Once you become experienced at the Ouija Board you will find the pace of responses coming from the glass will increase. In fact sometimes the glass will speed across the table at such great speeds it is almost impossible to keep up.
Aura Reading Many volumes have been wrote on how to read an Aura, and no two seem to agree. It is generally believed that anyone can see them with enough practice and that Positive feelings generally create bright colors, where as negative feelings generally create dark colors. For beginners a low light is the best way to start, never stare hard but rather gaze using only your peripheral vision.
Tea Leaf Reading Tea Leaf Reading is a form of divination stongly associated with the Gypsies and the English. The history of Tea Leaf Reading can be traced back hundreds of years. During a Tea Leaf Reading the client drinks a cup of tea but leaves a small amount in the bottom of the cup. The cup is turned upside down on a saucer and turned. The reader picks up the cup and reads the patterns formed by the tea leaves. Various symbols have certain meanings in Tea Leaf Reading. Time frames are estimated by the proximity of the leaves to the rim. Leaves closest to the rim represent the immediate future. As with Aura Reading, many volumes have been written explaining the meanings of what you see in the leaves and almost no one agrees.
Astrology Sometimes they're uncanny in their accuracy; other times they hit a bit off the mark. Nearly always, horoscopes are good entertainment. But Astrology is far more complex than a daily horoscope-and it's not just for fun. Contrary to its popular but erroneous reputation as a New Age subject, Astrology is actually an ancient science that predates both astronomy and psychology. Studied and used throughout the world for thousands of years, Astrology is the study of the interactions among the Stars and the Planets, based on intricate mathematical cycles. The earliest known astrological records date back to Babylon, 1645 BC, and the earliest horoscope to 410 BC. Astrology's origins can also be traced to several other locations and cultures, including Egypt, which developed a sophisticated timekeeping and calendar science. During the Renaissance, when literacy became more widespread, almanacs began publishing astrological information for public consumption. Several notable figures of the era, including Galileo and Copernicus, were both practicing astrologers and founders of the modern scientific movement.
Numerology Pythagoras, a philosopher and mathematician that lived and taught in the sixth century B.C., is generally accepted as the "father" of numerology. His teachings spawned a philosophical and religious movement, called Pythagorism, that spread throughout the Roman Empire. You were taught his mathematical theories in high school geometry. Pythagoras believed that reality is mathematical and that order is created out of chaos through numbers. Numerologists believe that everything, including abstract concepts, can be converted into numbers and that those numbers have specific meanings. By finding the number value of any word or name, you can discover its hidden meaning. For their readings, modern numerologists have adopted the original Pythagorean system. It is a simple system that assigns a number value (from one to nine) to every letter of the alphabet: A is 1, B is 2, and so on. In standard addition, you add 7+8=15 for the correct answer. In Numerology, this is not enough: it uses a further method of addition known as the "Fadic" system, or "natural addition." This simply means you keep adding two or more numbers together until you arrive at one single digit. Taking our example of 7+8, 7 and 8 adds up to 15, but in Numerology you add 1+5, for a final answer of 6. You must then know what each number from 1 to 9 represents. It would take many years to read even a small fraction of the books devoted to the meanings of numbers. I have listed only a sampling of the general meanings as applied to NAMES.
1 - LEADER
Self-sufficiency, invention, mastery2 - PARTNER
Charm, understanding, supportiveness, loving3 - OPTIMIST
Enthusiasm, imagination, versatility4 - PRACTICAL
Concentration, realistic values, system oriented5 - PROGRESS
Resourceful, magnetic, motivated, competitive6 - SERVICE
Caring, ability to compromise, reliability7 - INVESTIGATOR
Mental understanding, analysis, perfection8 - POWER
Decisiveness, courage, focus, delegation9 - UNIVERSAL
Understanding, communicating, influencingTarot Up to this very day, there's been an endless debate as to where Tarot cards were invented and who produced the first deck. Many nations around the world lay claim to it, but I have found no solid evidence linking it more strongly to one over the other. I cannot tell you here how to interpret the cards, there are several thousand books wrote on the subject and none seem to agree.
